The Miss Sangria Lounge competition attracted huge crowds where people gathered every second Friday to cheer and vote for their favourite “Chica Bonita” in a smorgasbord of colour, music and fun.

Heat number one, saw the girls parading in casual attire, with the much awaited second heat – the bikini catwalk!!

The finals to this exciting contest took place on Friday October 27 th which was one of the record breaking attendances of patrons at the Club.

A return trip to Rome, sponsored by Marconi Travel and Thai Airways, was at stake for the lucky participant Lourdes (#2) who collected the most votes at the end of three intense heats. One hundred per cent audience participation was assured, with the patrons casting their votes at door entry.

After 3 events well over 3000 votes were tallied, 21 votes separated 1st and 2 nd prize.
